Prep
Exfoliate and shave or wax at least 24 hours before your appointment. Arrive with clean, dry skin and no lotion, deodorant, perfume, or makeup.
Glow
Madison will discuss your desired result, choose a customized shade, and guide you through a comfortable, detail-focused application.
Rinse & Maintain
Follow your personalized rinse time, moisturize daily, and avoid long hot showers to help your tan fade evenly and last as long as possible.

What should I wear during the spray tan?
Wear whatever makes you most comfortable. Some clients choose to go nude to avoid tan lines, while others wear a swimsuit or underwear. Disposable undergarments can also be provided.
How long will my spray tan last?
Most tans last approximately 7 to 10 days. Results vary based on skin type, preparation, shower habits, activity, and daily moisturizing.
How should I prepare?
- Exfoliate 24 hours before the appointment.
- Shave or wax at least 24 hours beforehand.
- Arrive with clean, dry skin.
- Avoid lotion, perfume, deodorant, and makeup.
- Bring loose, dark clothing to wear afterward.
Will the spray tan make me look orange?
No. MKD Tans uses premium solutions and customized color selection to create a natural, sun-kissed result suited to your skin tone.
When should I tan before a wedding or event?
For weddings, book 2 to 3 days before the event and consider a trial tan 3 to 4 weeks beforehand. For photoshoots, vacations, parties, and other events, 1 to 3 days beforehand is usually ideal.
Can I spray tan while pregnant?
Speak with your healthcare provider before booking. Clients who receive medical approval may request additional precautions, including nose filters and a well-ventilated space.
Will the bronzer transfer to clothing or sheets?
A small amount of cosmetic bronzer can transfer before the first rinse, but it usually washes out. Wear loose, dark clothing and use darker towels or sheets until after rinsing.
